24 August 2022Salehe Bembury and Crocs’ ongoing collaboration continues, with another iteration of their cutting-edge Clog: the “Cobbler”.
Salehe Bembury is a designer renowned for relentlessly pushing the boundaries, creating footwear with an uncompromising approach to experimentation. His ongoing partnership with Crocs is a deft display of this sensibility, with the footwear label’s much-loved Clog given a hyper-experimental makeover.
The latest version, dubbed the “Cobbler”, retains the out-there aesthetic which has made the Pollex so covetable; EVA foam is moulded using three of Bembury’s fingerprints merged together, resulting in striking, concave ridges — as well as breathable holes that align with high-heat areas of the feet — that appear throughout. The colourway of the “Cobbler” is equally as striking, with a bold orange hue inspired by a peach cobbler dessert.
