Air Jordan looks to famous children’s literature with the latest AJ4, giving the iconic sneaker a playful makeover.
The Air Jordan 4 needs little introduction. It’s been a fan favourite since it debuted back in ’89. From the courts to the city, it doesn’t matter how you look at it.
The latest GS-sized versions deviate from what we’re used to, with famous children's literature forming their inspiration. The biggest switch up comes by way of the materials — there’s fleece worked into the collars and tongues to mimic the classic story’s characters. There are other playful touches, too, like the pops of pink, green, red and blue worked into the eyestays, contrasting the shoe's subtle, pearl white uppers.
The model's iconic details remain untouched, however, with Jumpman logos worked into the tongues and exposed Air cushioning underfoot.
