Description
For AW14 fragment Designs Kazuki Kuraishi continues his unique collaboration with adidas Originals. Returning to the collection's recurring theme of performance sportswear given a contemporary streetwear edge, as with anything Kazuki, the attention to detail and level of finish is impeccable.
For this reworking of the classic adidas Monte Carlo, Kazuki drafted in the enigmatic Mark McNairy to add his sense of humour to the design. Constructed with premium leather uppers, the hi-top features contrast green 3-stripe detail and heel tab that are marked '$100' and 'BILL'. The trainer is finished off with a padded ankle and vintage trefoil branded midsole.
