Tapped by sportswear monolith Puma to design a brand new silhouette for SS19, Jannik embarked on a journey of self-reflection to design his first ever original sneaker. Tapping into his own story, Jannik looked to the forgotten streets of his youth for inspiration; the Copenhagen you rarely see on screen or on the swathe of Scandi-centric lifestyle Instagram feeds which have popped up over the past decade. A grittier urban side of the city with real people, real struggles, and real emotions at its core.

Interested to turn Jannik's penchant for real-world storytelling back on itself, END. and Puma travelled to Copenhagen to meet Jannik on his own turf and visit the parts of the city which inspired the Alteration PN-1.
