Salomon and Carhartt WIP share very similar qualities. Firstly, both labels origins are heavily rooted in utility — one with a mainline label steeped in workwear, the other a long history spent tackling unforgiving climates — and secondly, both are just as favoured for their use in city.

This season, the two come together to celebrate their mutual love of performance, reworking the French label’s Shelter CSWP hiking boot. The shoe retains all its rugged features, like a flexible, lightweight and fully waterproof bootie — providing protection from the city to the trails — or its Contagrip® outsole for superior traction.

The shoe takes on a no-frills colourway of navy blue and black to further the rugged and understated look, as well as Carhartt WIP branding subtly printed across the tongues.
