THE NON-CONFORMITY OF CROCS’ ECHO CLOG

The Echo represents a new, hyper-innovative design language for Crocs' much-loved Clog.

THE NON-COMFORITY OF CROCS’ ECHO CLOG

When it comes to Crocs and its much-loved Clog, experimentation plays an enormous factor in its design codes. The label’s ongoing collaborations stand as testimony to that, with a long list of cutting-edge partnerships and hyper-experimental creations.

With the latest rendition of the Clog, dubbed the Echo, Crocs continues down that path of innovation, stepping into unchartered territory with a new, non-conformist design language. At its core, it retains all the qualities that make the Clog such a fan favourite, like the Croslite™ construction, supportive heel strap and perforations for Jibbitz™ customisation.

It does, however, receive some tweaks that push it into a new direction for the label. It’s moulded to a bold, almost-structural shape, featuring angular ridges throughout and heavy perforations — adding not only to the breathability of the shoe, but achieving an innovative, sports-derived aesthetic. A LiteRide™ drop-in footbed is used underfoot, too, to ensure that comfort and support Crocs is known and loved for.
