16 September 2023PUMA and Noah reunite to reissue the Pro Star sneaker, nodding once again to the sportswear brand’s vast archives.
Earlier this summer, PUMA and Noah joined forces to celebrate the world of tennis, dipping into the archives to reissue the Wimbledon sneaker, dubbed the “Star”. With their latest partnership, the two are back again to celebrate the refinement and elegance of PUMA’s retro sport sneakers, once again utilising the sportswear brand’s archives for inspiration.
Much like last time, the approach taken is one of reissuing archival classics, with the Pro Star brought under the spotlight. The silhouette itself is a rare, archival sneaker originally released for indoor sports, possessing that retro charm and clean-cut look you’d expect from the era. The collaborative iteration features smooth white leather across its uppers, detailed with subtle perforations, gold foil branding and accents of green — the most prominent being at the collar. To complete the collaborative look, co-branding — featuring the New York-based label’s name alongside PUMA’s iconic cat logo — is worked into the tongues.
