6 May 2022Taking cues from topographical maps, Nike present their latest edition of the iconic Air Max 95 sneaker.
Still a few years shy of their 30th Anniversary, the Nike Air Max 95 remains an ever-present and popular silhouette within the Air Max canon. Designed by Sergio Lozano in 1995, the chunky model offered an iconic designed epitomised by its unique flowing panels that shape the sneaker’s side walls.
Suede Uppers
Leaning into the flowing nature of the Air Max 95’s distinctive build, the “Topographic” rendition of the sneaker sees the silhouette’s lines used to mirror the contours on a map – complete with an embossed pattern that further facilitates this aesthetic concept.
Max Air Cushioning
Dressed in earthy, natural hues, a few pops of colour bring the sneaker back to its sportswear roots. With shades from orange to red detailing the sneaker’s eyelets, a crimson red mini Swoosh is embroidered towards the heel as a final flourish of Nike’s signature style.
