END. X ADIDAS VELOSAMBA 'SOCIAL CYCLING' LAUNCH EVENT
27 April 2023To launch END. and adidas’ ‘Social Cycling’ Velosamba collaboration, we took over By The River Brew Co.’s HWKRMKT for an evening of cycling themed celebration.
As the sun began to set on the River Tyne, By The River Brew Co.’s HKWRMKT in Gateshead was bustling with excitement as END. and adidas’ launch event for their collaborative Velosamba “Social Cycling” kicked into gear. The home of local cycling workshop and club Backyard Bike Shop, the riverside venue was the perfect location to champion all things cycling and showcase the Velosamba cycling sneaker in action.
Offering the opportunity to wear-test the Velosamba, a Zwift race station put the shoe through its paces. With a free pair up for grabs, there was everything to play for if you were fast enough. Pitting entrants against one another in an uphill climb, the time trial race was no mean feat to complete – a worthy method of ensuring the END. x adidas Velosamba was up to the challenge.
Sound tracked by Newcastle’s Shy Bairns Collective, the evening was rounded off with food from local vendors Fire & Dough, Dabbawal and Meat Stack, while Wylam Brewery’s locally brewed beer flowed freely as guests gathered round open fires to beat the Spring evening chill and enjoy a well-deserved pit-stop.
The END. x adidas Velosamba "Social Cycling" pack will launch online via END. Launches on 29th April.
