BARBOUR X AND WANDER: A Celebration of Utilitarian Design

Barbour reunites with and wander this season with a collection aimed at the great outdoors, representing a fusion of heritage British styling and contemporary Japanese outerwear. The two labels share similar traits in the environments their outerwear thrives in, enabling wearers to seamlessly move between rugged outdoor terrain and inner-city commuting.

Their latest partnership is heavily focused on outdoor performance, combining the heritage visuals of Barbour with and wander’s penchant for cutting-edge fabrics. Jackets are cut from a mixture of performance-focused materials, like waterproof Pertex® or windproof polyamides, and detailed with reflective stitching throughout. Barbour’s heritage details remain ever present, too, with corduroy collars and bellow pockets featuring throughout. The technical approach extends to the rest of the collection, with bucket hats cut from technical, weatherproof materials and bags detailed with utilitarian features to make life spent in the great outdoors easier.
