adidas Manchester 89 SPZL

Paying homage to the UK's home of the Acid House movement, adidas share the Manchester 89 SPZL sneaker in a combination of navy blue and bright red.

Constructed with plush nubuck uppers, this iconic terrace silhouette is detailed with the German stalwart's trademark gold foil print, serrated three stripes to the side walls and rubber outsole. The sole — which is borrowed from another icon, the Spezial — and a classic T toe cap give a final nod to the shoes so often worn on the terraces during the ’70 and ‘80s. Complete with printed SPZL branding to the heel of the left foot and adidas' Trefoil logo to the right, the Manchester 89 encapsulates a historic moment from a bygone era.
