END. and New Balance continue their longstanding partnership with “Art of Nothing”: a nine-piece capsule centred around the theme of relaxation and wellness.
Seeking relaxation — whether that be through mindful exercises, regularly taking breaks or practicing self-care — has been proven to provide a multitude of benefits, ranging from an increase in creativity to a reduction in stress levels. END. and New Balance celebrate that with “Art of Nothing”, creating a collection designed to promote the pursuit of a calmer way of living.
New Balance’s XC72 sits at the core of the collection, subtly altered with an emphasis on understated colourways and elevated materials across both iterations. The first of the two is constructed using plush suede and breathable sandwich mesh, with an off-white hue covering the uppers and subtle grey accents throughout. The other is constructed entirely from off-white and grey suede, joined to a gum rubber sole for added contrast. Both shoes come cushioned with moulded EVA, providing comfort and support during those leisurely days.
The same approach continues onto the collection’s apparel, with an array of downtime staples cut from comfortable materials and coloured in grey and white. Hoodies and joggers are constructed from heavyweight terry jersey for comfort during days spent relaxing, detailed with co-branding and the collection’s “END. YOUR STRESS” slogan. Tees are cut from soft cotton and printed with the same wellness-inspired text, along with meditating figures to further the collection’s serene aesthetic. The END. x New Balance “Art of Nothing” collection will launch online via END. Launches on the 26th February.
