Provoking conversation surrounding the eradication of the traditional high fashion/streetwear divide, forward-thinking Skatewear brand Aries makes its debut at END. for SS18.
Established in 2014 by Sofia Prantera and Fergus Purcell, the unisex streetwear label takes an experimental approach towards research and development and capitalises on the relative freedom they enjoy as a small-scale independent outfit still in its infancy.
Monikered in reference to the quintessential characteristics associated with the star-sign, Aries is focused on coming first, being a leader, and having a strong creative raison d'etre.

The clash between streetwear and high fashion is the quintessence of Aries, it constitutes its very heart, and has therefore been a big inspiration for us. In the past I have struggled to reconcile my love for fashion and beautifully made and cut clothes with my love for street wear and anti-fashion youth movements.
