While their respective outputs may be different — one label is renowned for its heritage footwear, the other its technical outerwear — C.P. Company and Clarks Originals share very similar traits, with both of them having loyal subcultural followings.

This season, C.P. Company and Clarks Originals partner for the first time, creating a collection that celebrates the point where nature meets the city. The collaboration is centred around mixing natural materials, heritage craftsmanship and modern technology together, creating pieces equally as suited to outdoor exploration as they are inner city.

Jackets and accessories are designed with an emphasis on exploring the movement between city and countryside, reflected not only in the combination of man-made and natural materials — with polyurethane-coated linen and rubber inserts — but also with the earthy tones used. The footwear celebrates 50 years of the iconic Desert Trek, with two iterations transformed using a combination of suede and rubber to reinforce the capsule’s heritage-meets-new approach.
